Youth round-up – Weekend of 12th/13th December 2020

Bridges Under 12’s Flames came back from 3-1 down at half time to beat Lindfield Juniors 6-3 thanks to a superb hat trick from Josh Rudge and other strikes by Olly Davis, Victor Lurashka and Alex Winiecki.

The Under 13’s Flames however lost 0-3 against Hassocks United, whilst the Flames’ game against Forest Row was postponed. But the Phoenix team beat Fishergate Flyers 2-1 with Zayn Raja and Blake Lambert on the scoresheet with Rami Esadki taking Man of the Match plaudits.

The Under 11’s had been beaten 7-0 earlier in the season by Galaxy’s Under 12’s, but they turned this around with a 6-1 win. Lewis Retter hit a hat trick and there were one apiece from Louis Koumaya, Reggie West and Man of the Match Kian McDonnell.
