Three Bridges Under 16’s couldn’t cope with the kick and run tactics used by Burgess Hill Town and subsequently lost 0-2.

But it was a better day for the three Under 7 sides. Youth beat Burgess Hill 6-0 and Flames beat the same opponents 3-2, but the standout performance came from the Phoenix side, who trounced Maidenbower by an astonishing 14-1!

The Under 8’s had a mixed bag of results with Phoenix beating Oakwood 4-2, Flames drawing 2-2 with Horley and Youth going down 0-3 against Galaxy Thunder.

Two other Bridges Youth sides had successful friendly wins, the Under 11’s beating Woodingdean 5-2 whilst Under 13 Phoenix won 6-3 against Patcham.
